The so-called jacquard pattern is a concave-convex pattern composed of interlaced warp and weft threads on textile fabrics.

There are many categories of textiles, with jacquard fabrics being one of the major categories; Jacquard fabrics can also be divided into large jacquard and small jacquard.

1) Definition and characteristics of yarn-dyed jacquard

Jacquard fabric is woven on a jacquard machine, and the number of yarn Cyclic number ranges from hundreds to more than a thousand. Jacquard patterns are large and beautiful, with clear color layers and strong three-dimensional sense. Jacquard is mostly patterned or satin patterned with one type of fabric. Sometimes different colors of warp and weft yarns can also be used to create large patterns of color on the fabric.

2) The definition and characteristics of yarn-dyed jacquard

The small jacquard fabric is mainly composed of various small geometric patterns, which are woven on a 16-24 page multi arm loom. Due to the limitation of the number of heald frames used, the patterns woven are relatively simple. Small jacquard fabrics have finer and more delicate patterns than large jacquard fabrics, but most of them are striped or checkered, with a relatively single pattern.

3) The difference between the two is mainly the difference between weaving machines. Small jacquard fabrics can generally be produced on a multi arm loom, while large jacquard fabrics must be produced on a large jacquard loom. Jacquard fabric is a fabric that can have hundreds of warp yarns in one cycle and needs to be woven using a Jacquard machine. Small jacquard is a cotton fabric woven with small patterns on a multi arm loom, also known as small patterned fabric or multi arm jacquard fabric. Usually, the production cost of large jacquard is higher than that of small jacquard products.
